VIDEO NEWSLETTER # 1 08/01/08

Missions Video Newsletter from Paul Jones on Vimeo.

This is my first attempt at a periodic video newsletter. In addition to my normal written newsletters, I plan on producing at least two or three of these videos per year. My hope is to effectively share life as a missionary pilot/mechanic in order to inform, inspire, share my life, and most importantly to glorify God.
*** This first video newsletter was produced in the spring of 2008. During production of the video I was working full time as a captain for Chautauqua Regional Airlines. Simultaneously, I was raising the financial support necessary to pursue my call to serve as a full time missionary bush pilot. I have completed support raising for now (God's awesome provision!), quit my job with the airlines, and am preparing to begin work in August 2008 as an apprentice aircraft mechanic. This apprenticeship will provide me with the necessary experience to serve not only as a pilot, but also as an aircraft mechanic. This skill is important because my work as a missionary bush pilot will involve bringing the good news of Jesus Christ and humanitarian relief to remote places of the world. No AAA there folks!***

That guy in your first video who is removing the skin of the 206 does such a great job. Someone should give him a raise. Hey, love your blog. I might be calling you to give me some pointers. Brian

Rock awesome video, Hoss. I want to link to it in my own blog. Is that possible? Hang in there and maybe I'll see you in the Asian side of the world.
