A couple weeks ago I had the chance to have some fun with the 1st - 5th graders at my sending church, Grace Point Community, in Columbus, OH. These kids are part of my support team and take a weekly offering to help keep me on the mission field. They are so excited about supporting a missionary and are a huge encouragement to me. I visited there Kids Quest service on Sunday morning and had them do some riveting to get an idea of what I do as I work on aircraft. Each kid put together a small personal cross made out of old missionary airplane parts. Each kid also got to put a rivet in a large 5 foot tall cross made from old missionary airplane pieces. We had a blast together.
